Commission hearing rooms are now equipped with Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs), which will allow interested parties in attendance to hear exactly what is being interpreted. Each hearing room is equipped with a transmitter and four (4) receivers. This new technology also filters out background noise and other distractions helping each user to concentrate on the testimony being presented.

To schedule use of the ALD parties must notify the Interpreter Office Program within two weeks of the hearing notice date.
