We are closed Monday, January 19, 2009 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
We will open for business at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.

January 28

All hearings are cancelled due to inclement weather.   Liberal leave for State employees.

January 27

Hearings are cancelled in Frederick and Cumberland/LaVale due to inclement weather. 

January 26

The Commission's telephone system will be unavailable today, Monday, January 26, 2009 beginning 4:30 p.m. for approximately two (2) hours.  Outgoing and incoming communications are affected.  Our IVR voice response system will also be unavailable during the system upgrade.
We apologize for the inconvenience and urge our customers to plan accordingly.

ALERT - Effective Tuesday, January 20, 2009

A change will be implemented in WFMS Online Services for subscribed ATTORNEYS.  The information entered in the Online Services User Profile is the contact information in the WCC MasterFile for all Commission contact and official mailings. 

Subscribed ATTORNEYS will update their mailing address and other contact information on their User Profile page; no printed form is required for subscribed ATTORNEYS.  Attorneys who are not subscribers will continue to use the paper Attorney Registration/Information Change form.  Subscribers who are not attorneys, such as Employers or Insurers cannot change their mailing information via Online Services but must continue to use the forms defined for them.

The online update will NOT update your Request for Employer Designee to Receive Notice of Employee Claims.
