22 We are saddened to announce the passing of longtime Commission staff person, Beverly Dennis.

The Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission announces the passing of longtime staff person, Beverly Denise Dennis, on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Beverly served in diverse roles during her 37 years with the MDWCC, including Claims Services, Public Service and Information Technology. She was admired by everyone for her expansive knowledge of the Commission, remarkable recall of people and events as well as her keen ability to courteously assist everyone with a warm, disarming smile. Following her retirement in July 2010, Beverly joined the staff at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, assigned to the artist's entrance to greet, direct and assist arriving performers. She also returned to the MDWCC in on-call capacity for our Public Service office, continuing her supportive relationships with friends and colleagues. Her warmth, humor and holistic talents touched many and will be missed by all.
