The Commission and State Offices are closed Monday, September 4, 2006 in observance of Labor Day.

August 30Due to continuing mechanical problems in Abingdon, all hearings scheduled for our Abingdon site on Friday, September 1, 2006 are relocated to our Baltimore City site, 10 East Baltimore Street, 4th floor, Baltimore, MD 21202.  Attorneys for all parties in affected claims have been notified via telephone, information is also available via the MD WCC telephone IVR system.  We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to restore services as soon as possible.  Updated information will post as it is available relevant dockets/hearings scheduled the week beginning 09/05/06.

August 21The MD WCC Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA)  effective January 1, 2007 is 3.4%.  This is posted to the PDF document on our Compensation Rates page (LINK).
