Scruggs website. | | August 10 | The Commission's web will be unavailable Monday, August 13, 2007 beginning at 3:30 p.m. for required network upgrades and maintenance. Duration is expected to be one hour. We apologize for the inconvenience and urge all to plan accordingly. | New construction around our Abingdon Regional Hearing Site may cause delays or inconvenience. On Friday, August 10, 2007, there is road construction at the Abingdon Regional Hearing site located in the Box Hill Corporate Center. Use use the second or bottom entrance to Suite 3465 as the first entrance to the parking lot will be closed. Please allow additional travel time for arrival at our Abingdon site. Construction should be complete prior to Monday, August 13th hearings. | | August 8 | Attention Practitioners/Insurers: In the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission's continuing effort to improve its process efficiencies and reduce its environmental and fiscal impact the Commission will no longer provide a "pink" envelope for the return of the completed C40 response. Implementation of the WCC's automated processing capabilities, has rendered the "pink" envelope obsolete. Therefore, effective September 1, 2007, the Commission will no longer provide the "pink" return envelope in the mailing of the notice of an employee's claim.
